Production Forklift Operator

We are currently seeking an experienced Production Forklift Operator for ASAP start for our client located in Dandenong South.

Our client is a well-established, Australian-owned company specialising in custom, high-performance polyurethane systems for both local and global markets.

We are currently seeking an experienced Production Forklift Operator to join their team.

• Monday – Friday, Day shift 7:30am-3:36pm (Temp to perm opportunity)
  
• Dandenong location
  
• $36 an hour
  
  Key Responsibilities
  
  Chemical handling, including mixing, batching and blending
  
  Production duties (approximately 85%) and forklift operation (approximately 15%)
  
  Capping finished products
  
  Loading and unloading trucks using a forklift
  
  Stock put-away
  
  Basic computer tasks, including freight bookings
  
  About You
  
  Previous experience in both production and forklift operation
  
  Experience with batching and blending processes
  
  Chemical manufacturing experience is highly regarded
  
  Good understanding of safe work practices, particularly around chemicals and dangerous goods
  
  Able to complete a pre-employment Drug & Alcohol screen and Spirometry test
  
  Holds a current LF Forklift Licence
